The Popular Show Season Four Introduces the Warriors Party

Ever since the premiere of Campaign 4, new Dungeon Master Brennan Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with rich lore, a wide array of heroes, and a exciting storyline showcasing angels, fiends, and sinister influences expanding in power within Dol-Makjar.

Heads-up: Revealing details for the latest installment of this adventure are included.

The Warrior Group Introduced

The third episode ended with a major cliffhanger and presented the premier party of heroes who will branch out from the main group to embark on their independent quest, apart from the additional parties.

The combat-focused team features the determined fighter (portrayed by the voice actor), the nimble rogue (Laura Bailey), the strong-willed figure (Whitney Moore), the cleric (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan Vale (the actor).

The Reason for Division

With an extensive roster, it was evident from the outset that having everyone at one table would be unworkable.

Hence, the first four episodes of Campaign 4 serve as an Introduction, weaving together the characters’ stories before splitting into three smaller tables: Warriors, Strategists, and Seekers.

Characteristics of the Soldiers Table

Per the Dungeon Master, the combat-focused party is for players who enjoy a traditionally charged combat and conflict-driven narrative style where non-violent answers are rare.

At first glance, figures such as the squeamish cleric Wicander might appear unsuited, but the events of the third episode show why these particular heroes are ideally matched for the Soldiers table.

Reasons to Leave

First, the party has a clear idea where to proceed after a violent initial meeting with the antagonists.

An old friend of Thjazi Fang—whose passing started the campaign’s events—exploited the foes for his selfish purposes, invading the secret base, striking the character, and taking all the powerful objects to auction.

The traitor then paid off his obligations and fled to a Halovar stronghouse in Gormalay, Timmony, beyond the urban center, with Cyd Pridesire pursuing him.

Individual Reasons

Secondly, each character has a personal reason to depart Dol-Makjar:

  • The agile hero, as the companion and best friend, desires vengeance.
  • Kattigan is familiar with the northern area and warns that it is a nasty place.
  • Tyranny and The cleric, having defied his house’s orders to eliminate the fighter and instead saved him, have no safe haven.
  • But, their status as important members in the influential clan could help the team reach locations they normally couldn’t.
  • Furthermore, The fighter swore a life debt to The savior for his deliverance and will now follow him everywhere.

Pursued by Authorities

Lastly, all of them are sought by the powers that rule Dol-Makjar for a multiple motives, making remaining behind no longer safe:

  • The agile adventurer and Kattigan are notorious outlaws.
  • The strong figure and The cleric turned against House Halovar and the legion of demons they are aligned with.
  • The target is wanted dead by the family.

This leaves them little choice but to travel to the remote area in pursuit of the antagonist.

What’s Next?

According to the latest episode’s post-show segment, we learn that the Soldiers table won’t be around next week, leaving the other eight cast members to round up the Questers and Strategists tables.

Fans can look forward to finding out which characters will be in which group in the season’s final introductory chapter, available to watch on next week.
